Founder & Executive Director: Amber Smith
Introducing Amber Smith, the proud founder of EIE. Driven by her love and desire to leave the world a better place for her children and future generations, Amber embarked on a journey to create a brighter future through education. With an unconventional background in underwater construction and cave conservation, she brings a unique perspective to empower young minds. Drawing from personal experiences, Amber understands the profound impact of early choices, fueling her commitment to equipping children with the tools and knowledge to carve their own destinies. Join us on this extraordinary journey, where young minds meet endless possibilities of learning. Together, we’ll empower every child to thrive and foster a future brimming with possibilities.
Head of Neuroscience: Dr. Liraz
Meet Dr. Liraz, our accomplished Head of Neuroscience, with a PhD and over 15 years of cumulative experience in brain research. Her remarkable journey includes a National Institutes of Health K-12 Scholar Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, Assistant Professor positions, and impactful research publications. Dr. Liraz’s passion for child brain development, fostered by the birth of her daughter, led her to found Little Neurons, LLC, in 2023, with a mission to simplify scientific literature and help children reach their fullest developmental potential. Today, Little Neurons creates blogs, educational videos, and collaborates with local organizations, empowering schools and offering classes to prime young minds for academic and life success. Dr. Liraz is excited to collaborate with EiE’s education reform initiatives, utilizing neuroscience tools to shape a brighter future.

Celebrating Grant Success
Evolving In Education (EIE) is thrilled to announce the acquisition of significant grants, thanks to the generous support of businesses like Walmart, Google, Target, Bank Independent, Marriott Shoals Hotel and Spa, Oriental Trading Co, YMCA, as well as community donations. These contributions will fund a pilot program in Northwest Alabama aimed at transforming public education, bridging resource gaps, and ensuring equal access to quality education for all students.
